Project Role Description : Act as liaison between the client and Accenture operations teams for support and escalations. Communicate service delivery health to all stakeholders and explain any performance issues or risks. Ensure Cloud orchestration and automation capability is operating based on target SLAs with minimal downtime. Hold performance meetings to share performance and consumption data and trends.

Summary:
As a Cloud Services Engineer, a typical day involves serving as the primary point of contact between the client and internal operations teams to facilitate smooth support and manage escalations effectively. This role requires continuous monitoring and communication of service delivery status to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency regarding any performance challenges or potential risks. The engineer oversees cloud orchestration and automation processes, striving to maintain operations within agreed service level agreements while minimizing downtime. Regular performance review meetings are conducted to discuss consumption patterns, share insights, and identify opportunities for improvement, fostering a collaborative environment focused on service excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of cloud service objectives and operational goals.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure health and proactively address potential issues to maintain service reliability.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and facilitating knowledge sharing to enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Experience in managing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for cloud-based databases.
- Familiarity with cloud orchestration and automation tools to support database operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and implement effective solutions.
- Understanding of security best practices related to database administration in cloud environments.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
