Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager in Benefits to develop and implement Health & Welfare benefits, Awards & Leave Policy supporting business and talent strategies and the associate experience. Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and/or manage Health & Welfare benefit plan designs that align with the company’s strategic objectives and deliver a transformed associate experience
Manage plan or program financials
Utilize data to understand plan or program performance and drive design recommendations
Develop effective communication plans to optimize impact, understanding of and engagement in benefits and programs
Effectively manage vendor partnerships
Ensure that benefit plans are administered in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations
Analyze current and developing legislation, external benchmarking and other environmental factors impacting plan performance and program competitiveness
Identify and implement technology solutions to improve the associate experience and drive greater integration across health and welfare programs.
Audit and analyze internal compensation practices in relation to relevant regulations. Develop recommendations for corrective actions as needed. Provide compensation consultation to HR and business clients.
Basic Qualifications:
MBA or PGDM Full-time
At least 12 years of experience on Health & Welfare Benefits design, strategy and management
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years of People leader experience
8+ years experience with Benefits governance practices
Solid business acumen and strategic thinker and problem solver
Experience working within a highly-matrixed environment
Knowledge of human resources and compensation including knowledge of relevant Federal, State, Local laws/regulations relating to compensation
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of statistical analysis
Work experience in a Design-thinking/agile/User-experience/transformational work setting
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
