Director, Specialist Sales - Consumer & Digital Solutions - IndonesiaMastercard is seeking a commercially minded payments professional to join our Customer Solutions Centre team in Indonesia. This role supports the growth and go-to-market execution of Mastercard's Consumer & Digital Solutions business, helping issuers strengthen their card portfolios, enhance customer propositions and accelerate digital payment adoption. Working closely with Account Management, Business Development, Division and Regional Product teams, the successful candidate will provide specialist expertise across Mastercard's consumer and digital payments portfolio, including credit, debit, prepaid, tokenisation, authentication and digital commerce solutions. By translating Mastercard's capabilities into practical customer solutions and commercially relevant opportunities, the role contributes to portfolio growth, digital payment adoption and improved consumer payment experiences across the market.Role

• Support issuers in adopting and scaling digital payment capabilities such as tokenized payments, digital wallets, and X-Pay enablement.
• Partner closely with Account Management and Business Development teams to support client engagements, proposals, RFPs, business reviews, and strategic opportunities.
• Create and maintain high-quality sales enablement materials, including presentations, solution narratives, and market and competitive insights.
• Collaborate with internal teams across Product, Marketing, Delivery, and Services to ensure solution readiness, successful launches, and smooth execution from pre-sales to implementation.
• Monitor market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for innovation, product enhancement, and new business growth.
• Maintain clear visibility of pipeline activity, key opportunities, dependencies, and risks to support effective prioritization and execution planning.
All About You
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in payments, financial services, consumer banking, card product management, or digital payments in Indonesia, with strong exposure to consumer payment products including credit, debit, prepaid and instalment solutions. Shariah banking experience is highly preferred.
• Deep understanding of the Indonesian payments ecosystem, including issuers, acquirers, schemes and fintechs, with the ability to identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities across cards, digital payments, wallets, alternative payment methods, and the e-commerce/ CNP landscape.
• Experience in customer-facing commercial, business development, partnership, product, or solution sales roles, with a track record of contributing to business growth, strategic initiatives, and commercially relevant client outcomes.
• Strong understanding of competitive dynamics across cards, wallets, and alternative payment methods, with the ability to translate product capabilities into compelling customer value propositions.
• Demonstrated ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders and develop trusted relationships in a highly relationship-driven market.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Commercial acumen combined with the ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and develop business cases.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong presentation skills, including the ability to develop compelling PowerPoint presentations and executive-level narratives.
