About the role
Original posting provided by amazon
The ideal candidate will possess deep RRCG industry background working with RRCG companies, including demonstrated success engaging C-suite executives on business transformation agendas. Additional experience in management consulting, technology sales, or business development specifically with Fortune 500 RRCG companies is preferred. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about new business models, AI-driven transformation, solution selling, and partner ecosystem development. Deep experience engaging one or more CXO personas (CMO, COO, CIO/CTO/CISO, CFO, Chief AI Officer) in RRCG is highly preferred.
Key job responsibilities
Create and accelerate RRCG pipeline across US and global accounts through persona-anchored sales campaigns targeting CMO, COO, CIO/CTO/CISO, CFO, and Chief AI Officer buyers.
Position the CIO as the platform foundation (migration, modernization, security, AI-readiness) and the Chief AI Officer as the orchestration layer connecting every CXO outcome to agentic AI in production.
Originate executive relationships through precision activations at global industry conferences, executive sourcing, and partner introductions.
Build scalable mechanisms enabling partner-led delivery using AI-driven account intelligence.
Establish strategic ISV and GSI partnerships driving C-level connections within RRCG globally.
Drive engagement with Amazon business units to convert accounts where traditional IT paths are closed
A day in the life
You start by reviewing AI-generated account intelligence on your top RRCG accounts, identifying the highest-impact CXO entry point. Mid-morning you're on a call with a Fortune 500 retailer's Chief AI Officer, connecting their agentic ambitions to partner-delivered outcomes. You coordinate with the extended Partner OneTeam, Account Managers, Partner Sales Managers, Solution Architects, and GSI/ISV partners, aligning everyone under a single campaign. Afternoon you join a pipeline review, surfacing what's converting, where partner coverage gaps exist, and recommending corrective actions. You close by prepping an Executive Roundtable with your partner, scaling the motion through the ecosystem, not through headcount.
About the team
The Industry & Solutions (I&S) team is a group of industry and technical domain experts who create and accelerate pipeline at scale through AWS partners. We engage C-suite and Line-of-Business executives on the business outcomes they own, not just the technology that enables them. We are customer-obsessed and partner-agnostic, operating across every major industry vertical spanning US and global enterprise accounts. We build mechanisms that scale through the partner ecosystem rather than through headcount. We operate in a highly-matrixed environment, collaborating across sales, partner, and product teams globally without direct authority.
