  • Partner with audio engineer on podcast production and manage the content workflow for The Long View.

  • Record and edit videos for quick-turn productions and short-form, video content in the US, and Europe when needed.

  • Collaborate with audience engagement editors on social video content and podcast promotion.

  • Be ready for breaking news and how to cover it quickly and comprehensively.

  • Plan and help facilitate subscriber-only events like Q&As and bonus podcast episodes.

  • Support on-air hosts, investment specialists, and editorial writers and help them bring their ideas to video or podcast formats.

  • Pilot new tools alongside the audience engagement team for quick-turn social media content, including YouTube Live broadcasts.

  • Manage the transcription and closed caption production process as needed.

  • Repurpose content from long-form videos and podcasts for clips and short videos.

You might be a good fit if you:

  • Have at least 3 years of experience working on deadlines at a digital publication, broadcast network, or content-focused organization in video and audio production.

  • Strong understanding of video and audio trends in traditional media and social media.

  • Experience with video editing software, including Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro.

  • Demonstrates strong news judgement and the ability to hit deadlines consistently.

  • Interest in and experience in investing, personal finance, or stock markets.

  • Experience producing for broadcast and working within the production process of a video or podcast operation.

  • A degree in journalism, film, communications or a related field.

  • Understanding search and AI optimization and how it factors into a multimedia strategy.
