What You Will Achieve

Your accounting and analytical skills will support the analysis of financial information and the preparation of financial reports. This includes maintaining and overseeing accounts and financial records; preparing Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements and other schedules; updating journals, ledgers, and other records; ensuring adherence to accounting and auditing policies; verifying data accuracy and preparing reports and reviews; and managing data entry activities in accounting systems.

As a Senior Analyst, your knowledge and skills contribute to team goals and the completion of critical deliverables. Your communication techniques help explain difficult issues and build consensus across diverse teams and stakeholders.

How You Will Achieve It (Key Responsibilities)

·         Contribute to the completion of projects; manage time to meet agreed targets; develop plans for activities on your projects

·         Maintain and complete task lists; prepare status updates as requested by management

·         Engage directly with customers and business partners on complex activities and deliverables

·         Prepare financial and accounting analysis completely and accurately

·         Prepare complex analysis for external accountants and Corporate Audit

·         Prepare complete and accurate SOPs and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal control documentation

·         Support internal and external audit activities, including audit management and issue remediation

·         Lead the implementation of continuous improvement projects

·         Maintain and develop relationships with serviced groups and within the team

·         Lead significant elements of month-end close; perform local statutory analytical reviews

·         Participate in special projects and initiatives beyond existing role responsibilities

·         Lead monthly P&L review with supported sites, ensuring figures are well understood and supported.

 

 

 

Inventory & Manufacturing-Specific Responsibilities:

·         Lead the Global Obsolete and Slow-Moving Inventory Reserves calculation

·         Engage in the mark-up corporate elimination process in GMX to provide final P&L to markets in scope

·         Perform monthly review of Trend Analysis, Cost of Sales review, and destructions

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

·         Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

·         3–5 years of relevant functional accounting or finance experience

·         Preferred experience in a fast-paced multinational company or Shared Services environment

Technical Skills:

·         Proficiency in US GAAP / IFRS knowledge and local accounting for different regions (e.g., Latin America, Europe, Asia)

·         Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP (including S/4HANA) and JDE

·         Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Power BI, Power Query, or data analytics tools is a plus

·         Understanding of intercompany cost of sales transactions, inventory reserves, manufacturing variances treatment, and fixed assets accounting

·         Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives

Language Skills:

·         Strong written and verbal English communication skills required

·         Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required

·         Additional languages (e.g., French, Spanish) are a plus

Interpersonal & Behavioral Skills:

·         Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse groups and individuals

·         Ability to resolve complex accounting issues and explain them to internal management and key stakeholders

·         Ability to operate independently and remain focused through change or uncertainty
