About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join the Marketing & Merchandising team and drive growth for Amazon Haul. You'll shape how millions of customers discover, engage with, and return to Haul — through growth marketing initiatives, customer acquisition and retention strategies, and on-site experience innovations. This is a ground-floor opportunity on a business scaling rapidly in a highly competitive space.
How we operate: We move fast, experiment constantly, and learn something new about our customers every week. You'll drive growth across marketing, on-site experience, and customer engagement — working closely with engineering, business, and finance partners. Scope will evolve — we're hiring a builder who thrives when the map is still being drawn.
We are AI-native: our PMs leverage AI agents and LLM-powered tools as their primary operating system — automating workflows, generating analyses, and unlocking capabilities that let a small team operate like a much larger one. You'll ship experiments in days not weeks, kill what isn't working fast, and push the frontier of what's possible with AI — not just use what exists.
Key job responsibilities
- Own growth marketing workstreams end-to-end: define the strategy, set measurable goals, ship experiments personally, and scale what works
- Drive customer acquisition and retention initiatives: identify the right levers, build the programs, and be accountable for moving the metrics
- Shape the on-site customer experience: define how customers discover, browse, and engage with Haul through promotions, merchandising, and content placement
- Ship directly: configure promotions, set up campaigns, launch notifications, build on-site experiences, run experiments. This is a hands-on role.
- Design and run a portfolio of experiments simultaneously: form hypotheses, ship tests within days, measure rigorously, scale winners or kill losers fast; synthesize findings into crisp narratives that influence leadership decisions
- Identify emerging opportunities by scanning competitive landscape, social signals, and customer behavior — then convert signals into new experiments
- Build and improve AI-powered workflows that automate repetitive execution, freeing capacity for higher-judgment work
- Influence partner teams up to the L10 level; mentor junior PMs; represent the team's strategy in leadership reviews
- Coordinate across marketing, engineering, design, operations, and finance to align on priorities, unblock execution, and deliver results that require multiple teams moving together
