Job Description:
This job is responsible for moderately complex transaction and fulfillment processing, including the movement of assets into and out of accounts. Key responsibilities include reconciliation, settlement, and trade and transfer support, and providing quality service and operations support for internal business partners and external clients, in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. Job expectations include handling in operational processes which may carry medium to high levels of monetary risk and assisting in training less experienced team members.

Line of Business Description:

Upon receipt of a collateral or transaction request, the Collateral Monitoring team ensures requests are reviewed for accuracy and available collateral. Once the review is complete, the team manages the execution or return of the transaction to help ensure client assets are handled correctly.
Responsibilities:
  • Performs moderately complex transaction processing and reconciliation with medium to large monetary impact according to the established written guidelines and procedures by reviewing, approving, and processing collateral and brokerage transactions following established requirements

  • Responds to moderately complex client inquiries via numerous channels to support operational efficiency and quality client service by evaluating transaction requests, resolving exceptions, and deciding proper approval or return actions

  • Responsible for the analysis and resolution of moderately complex transactions requiring escalations and exceptions by identifying potential risks, asking probing questions to gather required information, exercising sound judgment, and escalating issues promptly to ensure proper resolution

  • Proactively identifies risk and opportunities for process improvements based on an understanding of how the work impacts other operational units by reviewing collateral calls, confirming transaction requirements, and performing post-processing quality reviews

  • Demonstrates a team-first mindset by balancing individual responsibilities with team needs, supporting high-volume periods, and willingly handling complex cases to drive collective results and client satisfaction

  • Understand the process flow from end to end including the reasons for each step, the process controls, the risks within the process and the upstream/downstream impacts of their work based on an understanding the work affects other operational units

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience finding numerical discrepancies, performing transaction research and ensuringaccuracy, completeness and regulatory compliance, while providing guidance to team members on proper client service standards

  • Demonstrated success managing high-volume workflows, adapting to changing priorities, balancing competin demands, and maintaining quality and accuracy while supporting overall team objectives

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, take ownership of complex assignments, and contribute beyond individual performance metrics to achieve shared business goals

  • Ability in Microsoft Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, correct data labeling, interpretation of information, and execution of provided macros

  • Demonstrated ability to identify potential risks, ask effective clarifying questions, exercise sound judgment, and escalate issues appropriately to mitigate operational and client impact

​Desired Qualification:
  • Experience with wealth management client service, financial industry, regulations and/or operations

  • Experience coaching others to meet or exceed quality expectations and performance benchmarks

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners, such as lending, credit, technology, and control teams, to resolve issues and support business initiatives
