DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative manufacturing team and contribute to ensuring the highest quality production standards that help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a Manufacturing Engineer I, you'll contribute to operational excellence through process improvements, technical troubleshooting, and quality assurance in a GMP environment. You'll execute manufacturing protocols, conduct root cause investigations, and provide technical guidance while working with advanced equipment and instrumentation. This role offers opportunities to contribute to significant projects, collaborate across functions, and develop innovative solutions that impact global healthcare and scientific advancement.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree with no prior experience required in chemical, operations, manufacturing, or regulated environment
• Preferred Fields of Study: Chemical Engineering or related scientific field
• Additional certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or GMP practices preferred
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with demonstrated problem-solving capabilities
• Experience with manufacturing equipment, instrumentation, and control systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and quality management systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment
• Physical requirements include ability to lift 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment with potential chemical exposure
• Must follow corporate EH&S standards and safety protocols
• Ability to work flexible hours including overtime when required
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to train and mentor others
• English language proficiency required; additional languages beneficial for global locations
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement methodologies
