You will work directly with carriers, customer service teams, and RAD Operations shipping teams to coordinate daily pickup projections, set customer delivery appointments, investigate shipment inquiries, and identify transportation consolidation opportunities that reduce cost while protecting service quality. You will provide solutions for customers by proactively resolving shipping exceptions, recommending optimal service levels, and ensuring every delivery commitment is met. This role requires someone who can balance customer obsession with frugality — making smart service-level decisions on every shipment while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key job responsibilities
Transportation Scheduling & Execution
- Schedule and coordinate both less than truckload and full truckload palletized freight shipments and small parcel packages across North America fulfillment locations
- Use multiple carrier platforms and shipping systems to generate labels, book shipments, and confirm carrier pickups
- Rate quote customer shipping requests and make service-level decisions balancing customer obsession and frugality
- Identify transportation consolidation opportunities to optimize cost and reduce shipment volume
Shipment Tracking & Exception Management
- Track shipments in transit from origin to destination, monitoring status across parcel, LTL, and ground networks
- Action shipments with exceptions and delays, escalating with carriers and customer service teams to drive resolution
- Conduct shipment inquiries, file freight claims and support customer shipment investigations, providing timely updates to stakeholders
- Troubleshoot shipping errors and resolve issues end-to-end, escalating complex problems when necessary
Customer Experience & Delivery Support
- Provide customer experience support by setting and managing customer delivery appointments when required
- Communicate daily pickup projections and volume forecasts to carriers to ensure capacity alignment
- Support RAD Operations shipping teams with transportation coordination and shipment execution needs
Carrier & Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate professionally via email and phone with parcel, LTL, and FTL transportation providers
- Serve as the transportation liaison between GTL, RAD Operations, and cross-functional partners
- Maintain carrier compliance records including arrival and departure times for scorecard development
- Coordinate with business partners, stakeholders, and peers to ensure seamless daily operations

We manage multi-modal transportation in support of Amazon internal customers— parcel, LTL, FTL, flatbed and auto transport. The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
