Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business system components. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to maintain system stability and performance. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple teams to ensure seamless operations and timely resolution of challenges, fostering a collaborative environment that supports business continuity and operational excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to streamline issue resolution and improve system reliability.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on support priorities and system updates.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google Kubernetes Engine.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Google Cloud DevOps Services.
- Strong knowledge of container orchestration and management within cloud environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Experience with automation and scripting to enhance operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident management processes to ensure rapid response.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Google Kubernetes Engine.
- This position is based at our PDC3B - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
