We are looking for a Junior Biotechnologist to join our recombinant protein manufacturing team and contribute to the production of high-quality recombinant protein products.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across multiple stages of the manufacturing process, including solution preparation, chromatographic protein purification, final product formulation, sterile filtration and freezing. You will work with modern bioprocessing technologies and chromatography equipment while developing practical expertise in recombinant protein manufacturing.

You will receive hands-on training and support from experienced colleagues, gradually developing the skills and confidence to perform manufacturing processes independently. We are looking for someone who is curious, eager to learn and motivated to grow together with the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and perform recombinant protein manufacturing processes according to established protocols and procedures.

  • Prepare solutions and buffers used in manufacturing, including titration, pH and conductivity adjustment, and filtration.

  • Learn and perform chromatographic purification of recombinant proteins using modern chromatography and bioprocessing equipment.

  • Participate in final product formulation, sterile filtration, filling and freezing activities.

  • Prepare and operate manufacturing equipment according to established procedures and develop basic troubleshooting skills as your experience grows.

  • Complete manufacturing documentation accurately and on time.

  • Order materials required for manufacturing and help maintain appropriate inventory levels to support smooth production.

  • Collaborate with Quality, QC, Engineering/Technical and other teams to support product quality and reliable manufacturing processes.

  • Contribute ideas for process and operational improvements and participate in their implementation together with the team.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology or another related life-science field.

Skills and Competencies

  • Understanding of protein purification using chromatographic methods.

  • Basic English language skills, both written and verbal.

  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office.

  • Attention to detail and a responsible approach to work.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Salary

1 566–2 354 gross/month

The final offer will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and competencies.

Compensation

The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €1 566,67–€2 354,17.
