Who we are looking for:

Looking for candidate who will be responsible for create or amend shareholder database in TA system. Candidate should have good verbal & written communication .Preferable location Chennai. Ready to work in any shift including night shift.

The Transfer Agency Associate 2 plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations and client services of a transfer agency, typically within the financial services sector. This position is suited for professionals with foundational experience in transfer agency operations, looking to further develop their expertise and contribute to the smooth processing and administration of investor transactions.

What you will be responsible for:

As Associate 2 you will:

  • Transaction Processing: Accurately process subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and switches for investors, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • Client Servicing: Respond promptly and professionally to client, investor, and intermediary queries via email, phone, or written correspondence, maintaining a high standard of service.

  • Data Management: Maintain and update investor records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality at all times.

  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver periodic and ad hoc reports to clients and internal stakeholders, supporting fund accounting and compliance teams as needed.

  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Compliance: Assist with client due diligence, document verification, and transaction monitoring in line with AML regulations and company policies.

  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control checks and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance of processed transactions.

  • Process Improvement: Contribute ideas for operational efficiency, support system enhancements, and participate in team projects as required.

  • Training and Development: Mentor junior team members and participate in ongoing training to stay updated with regulatory changes and industry best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

  • Experience: Previous experience in transfer agency, fund administration, or financial services is desirable, ideally 1–3 years.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), with experience using fund administration or transfer agency systems considered an advantage.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.

  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of work with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.

  • Organization: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Additional requirements:

Mutual Fund and Capital Market knowledge is added advantage
