Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, we are seeking an experienced Payroll & HCM Specialist to manage payroll operations, statutory compliance, system configuration, and integrations within the HCM environment. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining payroll configurations, and collaborating with HR, Finance, and technical teams to support business operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Configure and maintain payroll components, including earnings, deductions, taxes, benefits, and payroll calculation rules.
Manage payroll master data and ensure payroll structures align with organizational policies and business requirements.
Support payroll system enhancements, testing, and configuration updates.
Ensure payroll processes comply with applicable local, regional, and global tax regulations, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary system and process updates.
Support audits and compliance reviews by maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation.
Execute end-to-end payroll cycles, including pre-payroll activities, validations, payroll calculations, and final payout processing.
Review payroll reports and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll release.
Ensure payroll is processed accurately and within established timelines.
Coordinate data flow and reconciliation activities between IFS HCM Payroll and IFS Finance modules.
Validate payroll-related accounting entries and support financial reporting requirements.
Collaborate with finance stakeholders to ensure accurate payroll cost allocation and reporting.
Investigate and resolve payroll-related issues, including salary discrepancies, calculation errors, and interface failures.
Partner with technical teams to troubleshoot system integration and data issues.
Provide functional support to HR, Finance, managers, and employees regarding payroll inquiries.


Professional & Technical Skills:
Must Have Skills: Proficiency in IFS HCM Payroll Role experience
Experience in payroll administration, HRIS/HCM systems, or payroll operations.
Strong knowledge of payroll processing, taxation, statutory compliance, and payroll accounting.
Experience working with IFS HCM Payroll, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll, Workday Payroll, Oracle HCM, or similar payroll platforms.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in IFS HCM Payroll Role experience
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
