About the Job
State Street's Global Marketing organization is responsible for telling our company’s story — to all audiences and through a variety of channels, creating compelling experiences that strengthen our brand, support business objectives, and engage clients, prospects, investors, employees, and other key stakeholders.
As part of the Content Strategy and Development team, the Digital Content Manager plays a critical role in governing, optimizing, and delivering content across State Street's digital ecosystem. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution across content operations, content governance, and digital delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
Website Management & Content Operations
Manage web publishing activities through Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and related platforms, coordinating content updates, launches, and site enhancements
Manage end-to-end digital content workflows involving multiple stakeholders — from intake, planning, and content preparation through review, approval, publishing, and measurement
Support website homepage curation, campaign activations, thought leadership promotion, and strategic content placement across high-visibility digital properties
Partner with campaign, email, social, and search teams to align web content and landing page experiences with broader content promotion and distribution plans
Partner with regional stakeholders to support content and website localization efforts, ensuring a consistent user experience while adapting content for local markets and languages
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of web projects and content updates
Digital Content Strategy & Governance
Partner with stakeholders to determine appropriate content placement, audience alignment, and messaging strategy across State Street's digital channels
Develop and maintain content standards, publishing guidance, governance processes, and workflow documentation
Oversee content lifecycle management, including content inventories, audits, expiration tracking, renewal recommendations, and retirement processes
Lead content governance efforts across State Street's digital properties, working with content owners and legal, compliance, and digital partners to ensure content remains accurate, current, appropriately approved, and aligned with regulatory requirements and standards
Content Experience & Optimization
Drive continuous improvements to content discoverability, navigation, taxonomy, metadata, and user experience
Use digital performance data, audience behavior, search insights, and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities and recommend improvements to content, user experience, distribution, and business outcomes
Apply SEO, AEO, and structured content best practices to improve content discoverability, answerability, usability, and engagement
Evaluate and responsibly apply approved technologies and AI-enabled capabilities to improve content quality, workflow efficiency, and digital experiences, maintaining human review and adherence to firm policies
Stakeholder Partnership & Project Leadership
Collaborate with business, marketing, creative, digital and communications teams to support strategic initiatives and campaigns
Serve as a trusted advisor on web strategy, content governance, and digital best practices
Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects that support enterprise priorities
Foster strong relationships across global teams to ensure consistent execution and alignment across markets and regions
