Apps Dev Tech Lead Analyst - C13 - MISSISSAUGA

The Applications Development Senior Manager is responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities.

 

Responsibilities
• Utilize knowledge of NetSuite platform capabilities and Finance processes to identify and define required system enhancements, including the use and review of SuiteScript customizations.
• Consult with users, clients and other technology groups on issues, and recommend, implement and support NetSuite-specific solutions.
• Apply strong knowledge of NetSuite capabilities when preparing platform design and configuration specifications.
• Review NetSuite configurations, customizations and access controls to identify vulnerabilities, control issues and required remediation.
• Serve as an advisor and coach to junior or lower-level NetSuite developers and analysts.
• Identify problems, analyze information and exercise evaluative judgment to recommend and implement NetSuite solutions.
• Resolve platform issues by selecting appropriate solutions based on NetSuite technical and functional experience and established standards.
• Operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy.
• Act as the NetSuite subject-matter expert for senior stakeholders and other team members.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations; adhering to policy; applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices; and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Required Skills
• Experience in Oracle NetSuite platform development and customization.
• Hands-on technical capability with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteTalk and NetSuite record conversion.
• Proven functional-process knowledge and hands-on experience with NetSuite Finance-module configuration.

Qualifications
• 4-6 years of relevant enterprise-application experience, preferably within financial services.
• Senior-level experience in an Oracle NetSuite platform development or architecture role.
• Demonstrated experience leading NetSuite developers, analysts or platform specialists.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making and ability to manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.

Education
• Bachelor’s degree, university degree or equivalent experience.
