Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll help shape the future of scientific innovation. As a Developer III, you'll design, develop, and maintain critical applications and systems that enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions, from cloud-native applications to enterprise integrations. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technologies while making meaningful contributions to scientific advancement and healthcare innovation.

Enterprise developer tooling operations and user support

• Own and resolve ServiceNow requests and escalations for approved developer platforms, source-control and

collaboration services, CI/CD tools, AI-assisted development tools, organizations, projects, repositories, teams, and

access groups.

• Validate requests, identities, approvals, and entitlement prerequisites; apply least-privilege access; document actions;

communicate status; and close the loop with requesters.

• Troubleshoot SSO, authentication, membership, permissions, project or repository access, integrations, and developer

onboarding issues across global teams.

• Identify recurring ticket patterns and replace manual handling with safe automation, templates, decision trees, or

self-service workflows

Requirements:
• Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of professional software development experience
• Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field
• Relevant technical certifications a plus
• Strong expertise in one or more major development platforms (Java/.NET/Python/JavaScript)
• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms and services (AWS/Azure)
• Proficiency in database technologies and SQL
• Experience with modern development frameworks and tools (React, Angular, Spring Boot)
• Strong understanding of API design and microservices architecture
• Expertise in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience guiding and supporting team members' professional development
• Experience with version control systems and project management tools
• Knowledge of software security best practices
• Participation in on-call support rotation as needed
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives
