As a Sr. UX Designer on the Advertiser Experiences team, you should be comfortable prototyping and communicating design ideas at varying levels of fidelity. You have a solid understanding of how applications are built and use that knowledge to design solutions that are both desirable and feasible. You approach your craft with an AI-native mindset, actively integrating AI tools and capabilities into your research, ideation, and delivery process to move faster and raise the quality of your output. The ideal candidate will be able to visualize an experience in the abstract, break down complex use cases, and drive the vision into solid design deliverables.
You think first from the advertiser's perspective, use research and data to influence your designs, set relentlessly high standards for yourself, and deliver best-in-class experiences. You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and embrace the idea that failure is a critical part of innovation. You balance your passion for inspired, compelling, elegant yet simple designs with a highly analytical nature, precise execution, and a relentless drive to design, build, and deliver.
Key job responsibilities
• Own end-to-end UX design for one or more advertiser experience product areas, from concept through launch
• Translate complex advertising workflows and ambiguous problem spaces into clear, intuitive, and visually compelling designs
• Leverage business requirements, usability findings, and market research to develop scenarios, use cases, and requirements
• Adopt emerging AI capabilities into your design workflow to increase speed and quality of output
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that communicate design intent
• Drive design decisions through user research, data analysis, usability testing, and industry best practices
• Build cross-functional relationships to promote collaboration and efficiency
• Contribute to and evolve the Advertiser Experiences design system for platform consistency
• Present design work and rationale to senior leadership, advocating for the advertiser experience
• Proactively manage your work queue, timelines, and expectations; communicate tradeoffs when needed
About the team
The Amazon Ads Creative Experiences Design team designs the experiences advertisers use to create and manage ad creatives. Our work spans AI-powered Creative Skills (image and video generation), agentic creative workflows, multi-format campaign builders, creative preview and optimization experiences. We define the AX vision for what every creative experience must address — and ship patterns that teams adopt at scale.
We value designers who own ambiguous problems end to end, define patterns that scale without them in the room, exercise backbone to protect the advertiser experience, and tie their work to measurable business outcomes.
