Summary:
In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based solutions. This includes managing the configuration processes, coordinating integrations with various systems, and overseeing the release cycles to ensure smooth deployment. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance while aligning with both business requirements and vendor limitations. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders to drive solution evolution and address emerging challenges is a key aspect of daily activities.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance solution delivery and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Retail.
- Good To Have Skills: Specialty Retail, Project Management Office Mobilization and Run.
- Strong knowledge of packaged and cloud-based application architectures and deployment methodologies.
- Experience in managing system integrations and ensuring seamless data flow across platforms.
- Ability to establish and enforce platform standards that balance technical performance with business needs.
- Skilled in coordinating release management processes to minimize disruptions and maintain system reliability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in SAP for Retail.
- This position is based at our MDC5C - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
