Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the development process and serving as the main liaison for project-related communications. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications meet the required specifications and function seamlessly within the intended environment. The engineer actively oversees the progress of the project, ensuring that all components are integrated effectively and that any challenges encountered are addressed promptly to maintain project momentum and quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of development activities to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in developing and optimizing custom applications within the SAP HANA environment.
- Strong knowledge of database programming and performance tuning specific to SAP HANA.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable code following best practices in SAP ABAP.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect SAP modules and external systems.
- Competence in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting complex software issues in SAP landscapes.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our BDC11 - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
