As part of the AWS Infrastructure organization, Data Center Planning and Delivery (DCPD) prepares for, plans, and builds the data centers that comprise the AWS cloud.

We’re seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager in Seattle, WA or Herndon, VA to manage delivery operations programs with large-scale capacity delivery impact.

This role develops, leads, and executes centralized strategies for reliably delivering builds on time to meet customer need-by-dates, thus improving or maintaining capacity delivery health across the AMER region. You will be responsible for creating a strategy from scratch on how we access delivery risks across our entire portfolio of projects and what programs are required to be initiated to mitigate these risks.

This highly visible role integrates key initiatives across Capacity Delivery and partner teams, identifying best practices via process and policy development and implementing them across the region by tracking action items, developing process changes, and launching new tools. This role drives operational excellence by using knowledge of infrastructure builds to advise or influence business decisions that have cross-region impact. The role requires a high level of organization and coordination as new risks and issues emerge, and depends on the use of existing mechanisms or establishing new mechanisms altogether to do so.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
