The Senior Relationship Manager is a senior-level position reporting to China NBFI head under China FIG responsible for managing and developing business with non-bank FI clients located in southern part of China.

Responsibilities:

  • To manage client relationships and further develop our businesses with designated NBFI customers across a number of segments (Insurance/Securities/funds, etc) and to identify/develop new prospective NBFI clients within the South Region;
  • To achieve revenue targets as set by Global/Regional/China management from multiple aspects including Banking, Services, Markets and others.
  • To work closely with various product sales from Services, Markets etc, as well as partners from not only China, but also other regions and locations to provide covered NBFI clients with comprehensive and one-City solutions
  • To pro-actively manage his/or her client portfolio to maintain good risk/credit quality through credit review processes
  • To work closely with various internal stakeholders such as Risk, Compliance, legal and operations to ensure regulatory requirements are always adhered to and proper controls are in place for managing the NBFI clients assigned


Qualifications:

  • Top tier educational background
  • 7~10 years’ work experience in financial institutions or related industry
  • Comprehensive non-banking FI knowledge
  • Good interpersonal/presentation skills
  • Sharp marketing sense & analytic mindset
  • Familiar with diversified products, including Financial Markets, Capital Markets, Custodian and Transactional Banking products
  • Quick and smart learner and executer
  • Good teamwork spirit
  • Self-motivated and achievement oriented
  • Proficiency in Chinese ( Mandarin ) and English

Ideally the role is to be based in Shenzhen. Other locations such as Beijing or Shanghai can also be considered for strong candidates.
