Team/Role Overview:

The Client Onboarding Senior Analyst applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, document, and manage business and operational requirements. Translate needs into detailed specifications (functional, non-functional, user stories, acceptance criteria).
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and Use Cases.
  • Analyze system scope, define outcomes, and identify capability gaps. Propose solutions, including data sources and process changes. Evaluate and recommend optimal approaches.
  • Create insightful reports with causes, impacts, and solutions for system/business issues. Communicate complex information clearly to all audiences.
  • Act as a liaison between business, technical teams, and vendors. Provide expert advice, ensure compliance, and manage conflicting requirements.
  • Actively participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from initiation and planning through testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Utilize SDLC tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps) to track requirements, manage tasks, document progress, and facilitate team collaboration.
  • Assess and mitigate risks, safeguard the firm's reputation, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years in business or systems analysis, preferably in financial services (Custody Account Services).
  • Proficient in requirements gathering (Agile, Waterfall) and process modeling (BPMN, flowcharts).
  • Skilled with SDLC tools like Jira, Confluence.
  • Strong data analysis, including working with large datasets and defining data requirements.
  • SQL and database concepts are a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, able to present complex information clearly.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and lead discussions.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
