Original job description

Content provided by the employer

AWS Infrastructure as Code helps customers to easily and efficiently adopt AWS services while ensuring that their applications run safely in the cloud. We develop services, including CloudFormation, Cloud Control API, and the Cloud Development Kit (CDK) that empower customers to spin up infrastructure across AWS at unprecedented scale.

Our vision is to make agent driven infrastructure management fast , reliable and safe. The Provider Experience team provides the building blocks for customers to scale and grow their use of AWS services and third-party solutions. With the CloudFormation CLI and Resource Provider Development Kit (RPDK), we enable AWS service teams and third-party developers to build a standardized resource-handler interface to their services and provide access to customers via the CloudFormation Registry. From there, we make it easy for developers to discover each resource's capabilities and build solutions to manage infrastructure at AWS scale. One of our top 2026 goals is to provide 100% IaC coverage for AWS resources and expand coverage significantly for third party resources. We are investing heavily in AI assisted platform capabilities that will accelerate development and centralization of IaC resource handlers to expand coverage.
We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead testing and publishing of IaC resource handlers across AWS services including migration of legacy handlers to our centralized platform. You will influence testing and centralized deployment portal design while managing work streams across internal service teams and external partners, proactively addressing risks to the critical path, removing roadblocks through stakeholder coordination and escalation, and tracking actions to closure.

This is an individual contributor role with broad organizational influence. Your technical domain knowledge, program management fundamentals, and trusted partnerships will enable you to drive organizational alignment and help teams deliver faster with higher quality.
