Amazon is seeking an experienced attorney to join Amazon’s legal team as lead counsel for the development and operation of autonomous vehicles and robotics solutions for Amazon’s last mile delivery operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and complex regulatory frameworks, supporting one of Amazon's most innovative initiatives in transforming last mile logistics.

You will provide strategic legal counsel on product development, regulatory compliance, and commercial transactions for autonomous delivery vehicles and robotics systems. Working closely with engineering, operations, and business teams, you will navigate novel legal issues in federal and state vehicle regulations, product safety, and AI regulation, as well as data privacy, intellectual property, and technology licensing. This position requires someone who thrives in ambiguous environments and can provide proactive, practical, business-oriented legal guidance on emerging technologies.


Key job responsibilities
- Serve as primary legal counsel for autonomous vehicle and robotics initiatives supporting Amazon's last mile delivery operations

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
