Specialist, Revenue Optimization & Analytics

Overview

As an Specialist in the Revenue Optimization & Planning team, you will support the development of product strategies, pricing initiatives, revenue planning, and lifecycle management across Mastercard's products and services.


You will work in a truly global environment, partnering closely with Product, Finance, Regional teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to develop data-driven analyses and support the implementation of strategic initiatives. This role offers significant exposure across the organization and provides an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in payments, product strategy, pricing, and revenue economics.

The ideal candidate is a data-driven, innovative, and collaborative problem solver with a passion for delivering impactful insights that drive customer and revenue success.


In This Role, You Will:
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, industry developments, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities for growth.
• Gather, structure, and analyze large datasets to generate actionable business insights using tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar analytical platforms.
• Perform financial impact assessments, scenario analyses, and revenue forecasting at the product, customer, market, and regional levels.
• Assist in the design, evaluation, and optimization of pricing models for Mastercard products and services.
• Prepare recommendations, presentations, and materials for leadership reviews and decision-making processes.
• Participate in cross-functional projects involving Product, Finance, Account Management, Operations & Technology, Legal, and Regional teams.


All About You
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with data analysis and financial modeling is preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL or Python, Power BI or Tableau, or similar analytical tools is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for using data to solve business challenges.
• Curious and eager to learn about the payments industry, digital commerce, and product economics.
• Comfortable translating complex analyses into clear business recommendations.
• Able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented.
• Ability to communicate in English is required.
• Availability to be in the office 3 times per week.
