We are looking for a talented attorney to manage international trade legal work in support of our Consumer and Operations businesses.


Key job responsibilities
- Advise Amazon businesses on global trade regulations, with a focus on import compliance.
- Provide day-to-day trade guidance, track emerging regulatory trends, and help shape Amazon's compliance policies and programs.
- Tackle complex, high-stakes global trade issues across current and future business models, offering strategic counsel to help expand selection to Amazon's global stores.
- Collaborate with engineers, program managers, and retail/logistics teams to support Amazon-branded products, technological innovations, and improved compliance processes.
- Import-related work includes tariff classification, country of origin, and customs valuation, as well as developing submissions to regulators and external stakeholders.
- Conduct legal research, risk analysis, drafting of guidance documents and regulatory submissions, managing data review projects, and developing process improvements and automation.

Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
