The Sr. Supply Chain PM will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and communicate business conditions and decisions effectively with stakeholders across multiple groups and levels. In this role, a Sr. Supply Chain PM will seek out problems, dive deep into data, earn trust of partner teams, and deliver results that can have a large scale influence. This role is a blend of long term strategic planning, that requires quick decision-making, with incomplete data, while also thinking big and influencing the long term direction of the network. The end goal of this role is to answer the question of how we can expand Hub Delivery to our customers in a safer, faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective manner.

The Hub Delivery product allows local small businesses to partner with Amazon to provide flexible and cost-effective delivery service to delight customers globally. This is an emerging Amazon Logistics (AMZL) delivery channel, and is on an exponential growth trajectory globally.

The Sr PM will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and communicate business conditions and decisions effectively with stakeholders across multiple groups and levels. In this role, a Sr. Manager will seek out problems, dive deep into data, earn trust of partner teams, and deliver results that can have a large scale influence. This role is a blend of long term strategic planning, that requires quick decision-making, with incomplete data, while also thinking big and influencing the long term direction of the network. A day in the life
- Lead long-term network planning and process standardization for the US and Canada.
- Define the best Network Topology solution by leveraging on optimization tool sets to find answers for critical strategic questions such as how many facilities to build, what kinds they should be, where to put them, how to expect them to operate in the larger context of AMZL, and how to connect them in our transportation system.
- Actively work to remove bottlenecks. Create scalable mechanisms and best practices. Use network planning knowledge to influence future tools and features enhancement.
- Communicate and drive long term initiatives. Proactively identify gaps and opportunities. Manage various planning cycles (3YF/OP1/OP2) timelines and deliverables.
- Lead projects for cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new features and tools service that meet cost optimization and delivery experience maximization goals.
- Proactively identify gaps and opportunities in the process/solution by performing continuous benchmarking with developed countries network.
- Drive clear, precise, and regular communication with stakeholders to include ongoing project/program status via monthly and quarterly planning reviews.
- Up to 10% travel and ability to support international time zones.

Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
