The Contingent Worker tech team owns onboarding and lifecycle management for Amazon's 1.8M contingent workforce across 68 countries. We are designing and building a full-stack domain from the ground up to hire, manage, and offboard this population. Our customers include contingent workers as they onboard and work for Amazon, the full-time employees who manage them, and the Finance teams that track associated spend. The space sits at the intersection of compliance, security, and scale, with direct visibility to senior leadership including the CFO.
Key job responsibilities
Prioritize being a really great people manager. Building, motivating, rewarding and coaching a diverse team of Software Development Engineers is the most important part of this role. You will recruit and retain top talent and excel in day-to-day people and performance management tasks.
Set the strategic vision for your team and create comprehensive strategy documents and roadmaps that align with and advance organizational goals
Lead your team to build new products with quality, security, robustness and Amazon sized scale as top priorities. Help your team sort out technical and product requirements and priorities and align with cross-organizational partners.
Contribute to architecture and design discussions for full stack software.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
