Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Assistant Manager to support the management of our Distribution Center (DC) operations. This role combines strong logistics expertise with advanced digitalization and data analysis capabilities. The ideal candidate will leverage technology tools and data-driven insights to optimize warehouse operations, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Support daily DC operations including inbound, outbound, inventory control, and order fulfilment
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
- Monitor KPIs such as productivity, accuracy, turnaround time, and cost efficiency
- Coordinate with transportation, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics flow
Digitalization & Process Improvement
- Drive digital transformation initiatives within DC operations
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using related technology tools or workflow automation platforms
- Lead or support implementation of new systems and technologies
- Continuously improve processes using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel (advanced), Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Utilize data analytics to support forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory optimization
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with all related business partner including internal partner of Supply chain and external partners as digital/IT teams, finance, commercial team, etc to align on system improvements and logistics strategies
- Act as a bridge between operations and other functions/dept for smooth process and also facilitate different projects.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse/DC operations or logistics
- Experience in digitalization or system implementation projects is a strong advantage
Technical & Digital Skills
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in:
- Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VBA preferred)
- BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Familiarity with WMS/TMS systems and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP)
- Knowledge of automation tools (RPA, scripting, or low-code platforms) is a plus
- Basic understanding of database concepts (SQL) is desirable
Core Competencies

Preferred
- Experience in 3PL vendor management and high-volume distribution environments
