Position Summary:
We're seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our strong Program Management team in the Life Science segment. In this role, you'll drive multiple projects within our Cell Culture Customized/Service Business Segment, interfacing between our internal technical team and our prestigious customers, including world-leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies, and academic/hospital clinical centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead diverse and global projects from initiation to successful completion
- Facilitate and guide internal and customer-facing project team meetings across cultures and geographies.
- Develop accountability within the team to ensure timely task completion
- Handle and communicate project scope, schedule, resources, and finances to key interested parties
- Implement effective risk management and issue resolution strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and maintain crucial project documentation
- Spearhead external collaboration initiatives
- Engage and communicate with stakeholders and leadership to keep the project aligned with their goals
- Apply project management tools (e.g., MS Project) to maintain accurate project schedules and resource allocation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., bioproduction, biochemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, biology, or chemistry), Master's degree or above preferred
- 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in CRO/CDMO managing external scientific collaborations
- PMP or equivalent certification is beneficial
- Proficiency and knowledge of continuous improvement principles such as PPI 8-Step Problem Solving Process or equivalent beneficial
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and meeting facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and resolve conflicts in a team environment
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience leading teams in a design control and change management environment is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in biopharmaceutical manufacturing is a plus.
