Position Summary

The Manager – Transplant Diagnostics will drive commercial growth and provide technical support for the Transplant Diagnostics business for the South Asia market. This techno-commercial role requires a combination of scientific expertise, customer engagement, and business development skills to expand market presence and deliver customer value. Working closely with cross-functional teams and customer laboratories, the incumbent will support growth initiatives, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure technical excellence. Prior experience in Transplant Diagnostics, including knowledge of HLA testing, transplant workflows, and related diagnostic technologies, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership

  • Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets for the Transplant Diagnostics portfolio.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across transplant centers, hospitals, laboratories, and research institutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), laboratory directors, clinicians, Channel Patners and procurement stakeholders.
  • Develop territory growth plans and execute commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.

Technical and Scientific Support

  • Provide technical expertise and consultative support to customers on Transplant Diagnostics products and solutions.
  • Support product evaluations, demonstrations, validations, and implementation activities.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to resolve customer issues and ensure successful adoption of solutions.
  • Conduct scientific presentations, workshops, and training programs for customers.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Applications, Service, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to support business objectives.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer insights to influence product positioning and business strategy.
  • Support new product launches and portfolio expansion initiatives.

Customer Engagement

  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with customers by understanding their clinical, operational, and research needs.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and issue resolution.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, scientific meetings, and customer events.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong technical and scientific acumen in Transplant Diagnostics.
  • Excellent commercial orientation and business development capabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Effective presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a matrix organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or related discipline.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in the diagnostics, life sciences, or healthcare industry.
  • Mandatory prior experience in Transplant Diagnostics.
  • Demonstrated understanding of HLA typing, transplant testing workflows, immunogenetics, and related laboratory practices.
  • Proven track record in a customer-facing techno-commercial, sales, applications, or business development role.
