DESCRIPTION:
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler II and contribute to global healthcare and scientific advancement. You'll contribute to optimizing production planning and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of essential products that help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. Working with cross-functional teams, you'll balance customer demands with manufacturing capabilities while maintaining optimal inventory levels and production efficiency. Your analytical skills and supply chain expertise will help drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Develop Production schedule plan for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly bucket

·       Review demand signal and supply balance to trigger production work order

·       Coordinate with site operations team to meet production datelines. Monitor actual output versus production plan. Identify gaps and drive solutions

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver to customer’s requirements

·       Use data analysis to determine the best planning strategy to adopt ensure product availability and inventory optimization

·       Perform Capacity analysis to optimize plant utilization and support SIOP activities

·       Maintain material master, planning dashboards and reports

·       Present and participant in different daily tier meetings.

·       Perform inventory projection and maintain inventory at target levels to ensure high service levels

·       Drive excess and obsolescence reduction to achieve corporate inventory targets.

·       Execute NPI, EOL ramp up and ramp down plan

·       Leverage PPI initiatives to drive continuous improvement and support process improvement projects

QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing planning/scheduling, preferably in a regulated manufacturing environment
• APICS certifications (CPIM/CSCP) or similar supply chain certifications preferred
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) required

COMPETENCIES
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proven data analysis skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and high proficiency in digital and AI tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across functions
• Experience with inventory management, capacity planning, and production scheduling
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
