Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Scientist to join our bioinformatics team and contribute to the development of products and solutions based on Microarray technologies.
In this role, you will work closely with molecular biology specialists, analyze complex experimental data, develop and improve bioinformatics solutions, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
Your work will go beyond data analysis — you will actively contribute to process automation, digitalization initiatives, and the development of new tools that help scientists work with biological data faster and more efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with molecular biology specialists to understand experimental goals and select appropriate analysis strategies
Analyze complex biological and experimental datasets and provide scientific conclusions
Develop, maintain, and improve bioinformatics analysis processes and automated solutions
Automate data analysis activities to improve efficiency and reliability
Identify root causes of data or method-related issues and propose solutions
Interpret results, formulate hypotheses, and recommend next steps
Independently plan and execute bioinformatics and data analysis activities
Contribute to product and method development, optimization, and problem solving
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and communicate results to different audiences
Ensure data quality, integrity, and traceability
Contribute to process digitalization and workflow automation initiatives
Experience and Qualifications
PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, or a related field
orMaster’s degree with significant practical experience in bioinformatics or a related field
Skills and Competencies
Excellent Python programming skills and experience working with data analysis libraries
Ability to write high-quality, structured, and maintainable code
Experience developing and maintaining bioinformatics or data analysis pipelines
Good knowledge of Linux environments
Experience using SQL and Git
Strong data analysis, visualization, and interpretation skills
Good understanding of software development principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with specialists from different disciplines
Excellent technical communication and presentation skills
Excellent written and spoken English
Accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Docker, AI/ML libraries, or web technologies
Experience using AI-based programming or data analysis tools
Experience analyzing omics data
Experience contributing to process automation or digitalization projects
Basic knowledge of computer networks or hardware
