Job Description In this exciting role, you will be part of the Thermo Fisher Vietnam organization build out, heading the implementation of the operations strategy to support for our local customers and partners. Your key responsibilities (including but not limited to): Partner with Local Commercial, Finance, Legal, Regulatory teams, and Regional/Global Supply Chain and Customer service teams to le driving a consistent customer experience to ensure the appropriate infrastructure, people and processes are in place to support Vietnam GTM strategy Develop & Implement Indonesia Quote to Cash & Procure to Pay processes, starting from receiving customer inquiries until final shipment to customer, and all operational processes and communication with customers and internal partners between those points System Savvy, High Levels of familiarity with SAP (S/4Hana Preferred) as it relates to Q2C, P2P, distribution, and transportation processes Implement Vietnam logistics and warehousing strategy, coordinating with 4PL warehouses and freight forwarders to set up and enable processes for activities such as product importation, local inventory storage, inbound/outbound handling, and transportation to domestic customers Partner with legal, regulatory, commercial, trade compliance, freight forwarders, and Indonesia local customs put in place processes and procedures which facilitate product importation Process first customer sales orders and develop operational team to support business growth trajectory in sustainable manor Cost & Business Annual Planning for Supply Chain Expenses, accountability for OpEx, Freight & Duties, optimizing within budget Responsible for prudent inventory management – DOS, Net $, E&O, scrapping & obsolesce Management of the entire customer order backlog, ensuring timely responses, customer feedback, and processing of customer orders through order booking, product delivery, complaints, etc, Partner with commercial team to understand local stocking requirements, implement local planning processes and inventory Compliance (statutory, regulatory, business specific) in everything that we do in E2E Supply Chain Champion Quality, Safety, EHS, Cybersecurity etc., across the organization Implement, track, report, and improve upon key performance metrics Qualifications: • 7-10 years+ experience cutting across multiple supply chain functions such as customer service, purchasing, procurement, logistics, distribution, planning, etc • Proficiency in both English, and Vietnamese languages • BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration preferred. Other similar majors may be considered in conjunction with relevant on the job experience • Familiarity with Indonesian Import / Customs requirements and processes, as well as product specific regulations • Demonstrated ability to work with external 4PL providers to facilitate operations, control, optimize cost • Experience in Life Sciences, Bio-tech, or Pharmaceutical Industry, with medical devices, cold chain, dangerous goods preferred • System/IT savvy, experience working with SAP is a must, preferably S4/Hana • ERP Deployment experience preferred OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Compliance Champion – Integrity at the center of everything we do • Comfortable when working under ambiguity in a matrixed organization • Very strong sense of personal ownership, self accountability, strong in driving operations • High energy and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with aspirational objectives • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, at times across time zones Join us in making a meaningful impact.
