Job Description

How Will You Make an Impact?

As a Senior Manufacturing Technician, will contribute to the manufacturing of products that support diagnostics and scientific innovation. By maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence, you will help deliver reliable products that positively impact customers and patients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manufacturing and production activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and batch records.
  • Operate, inspect, clean, and perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment while ensuring product quality and process efficiency.
  • Accurately complete manufacturing documentation and maintain compliance with quality, and safety requirements.
  • Handle raw materials, components, and finished goods in accordance with established procedures.
  • Identify, communicate, and support resolution of production issues by collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment in compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies and company standards.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

Required

  • Fresh graduates or candidates with a minimum of 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience are eligible to apply.

Preferred

  • Experience in manufacturing, production, operations, or a related technical environment.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g.ISO, or equivalent).
  • Experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality management procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to follow written procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and batch records with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, instrumentation, and electronic systems, with the ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment.
  • Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and electronic manufacturing/documentation systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt to changing production priorities.
  • Strong commitment to quality, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, lab coats, hair coverings, and safety footwear.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while adhering to all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Willingness to travel or work at customer locations and other Thermo Fisher manufacturing sites, as required.
