DESCRIPTION
Help lead the global Microsoft 365 Collaboration Services team, responsible for the strategy, delivery, governance, and operational excellence of Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms. Drive secure, compliant, and scalable collaboration solutions that support both enterprise productivity and regulated business environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
- Coach and mentor global team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Promote cross-training and knowledge sharing to eliminate single points of failure and build resilient teams.
- Encourage participation in professional development, stretch assignments, and mentorship programs.
- Lead the design, development, and support of custom Microsoft 365 applications and business solutions using Power Platform, Microsoft Graph, Azure Logic Apps, and SPFX framework.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
- Participate in the strategy, roadmap, lifecycle, and operational health of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Viva Engage, and related Microsoft 365 services.
- Drive M&A collaboration integrations, and large-scale migration programs, including cross-tenant migrations, tenant-to-tenant collaboration.
- Oversee enterprise migration strategies and tools, including ShareGate, AvePoint, and Microsoft Cross-Tenant Migration tools.
Service Delivery & Governance
- Ensure governance, security, compliance, and service excellence across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including support for GxP/validated environments and regulated workloads.
- Partner with Quality, Compliance, Security, Identity, Infrastructure, and Business stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
- Drive adoption of AI-powered automation, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), and Microsoft Graph to improve productivity and operational efficiency while maintaining governance.
- Lead the team in resolving/closing incident, problem, change, release, and vendor management tickets, ensuring SLA compliance and continuous service improvement.
- Champion automation, standardization, and innovation while maintaining data integrity, audit readiness, and compliance.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in Microsoft 365 Collaboration Services and 3+ years in people leadership.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Purview, Power Platform, and PowerShell.
- Experience supporting validated (GxP) environments, Microsoft 365 governance, compliance, data lifecycle management, and regulatory controls.
- Experience implementing AI-enabled collaboration capabilities while ensuring security, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
- Strong understanding of ITIL-based service management and enterprise governance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent
- Experience in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or other regulated industries.
