A Day in the Life:

  • Workers primary responsibility is to successfully ship out orders of the day in a timely, safe and productive manner

  • Performs powered industrial truck pre-use safety inspection checklist

  • Reports malfunctioning powered industrial trucks and uses lockout/Tagout SOPs

  • Directs, stages and places all material in or outside the building using proper material handling equipment

  • Picks, prepares, packages, documents, labels, and ships all material according to prescribed regulations and using accurate dispatching equipment


Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


Experience:

  • Preferred: Work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field

  • Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Ability to read and write in English

  • Candidates who are committed to working in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Worker must be capable of operating powered industrial trucks, forklift operator experience is helpful


Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Candidate must be comfortable working in an environment with hazardous and non-hazardous materials

  • Ability to work alternately in a seated or standing position is required

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $13.82–$22.00.
