Join a leadership role at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll guide strategic growth and innovation in our specialized business segments. As Director, you'll lead commercial initiatives, develop and execute market strategies, and oversee P&L responsibilities while building strong partnerships with key stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to make significant impact in healthcare, diagnostics, or analytical solutions, directly contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll collaborate across teams to drive business development, implement go-to-market strategies, and deliver exceptional customer value while leading high-performing teams in an innovative environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in relevant industry sectors with progressive experience
• Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Sciences (Biochemistry, Immunology, or related field)
• Demonstrated P&L management and commercial leadership experience
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape
• Experience developing and implementing successful go-to-market strategies
• Demonstrated success in revenue growth and market share gains
• Experience managing direct and indirect sales channels
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategies across multiple markets
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Strong professional presence and stakeholder management capabilities
• Success in cross-functional collaboration in matrix environments
• Ability to build and maintain strategic customer and partner relationships
• Advanced analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel 25-50% as required
• Business fluency in English; additional languages welcome
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is –.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
