DESCRIPTION:
As a Corporate Strategy Analyst at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will contribute to shaping our future through strategic initiatives and digital transformation. You'll be part of a collaborative team focused on driving innovation and growth across our operations. This position offers an opportunity to analyze market trends, develop strategic recommendations, and coordinate multidisciplinary projects that directly impact our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities, conduct market intelligence, and implement data-driven solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or market intelligence
• Preferred Fields of Study: Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Life Sciences, or related field
• Strong analytical and data analysis capabilities, including financial modeling and statistical analysis
• Expertise in innovation methodologies (Design Thinking) and agile project management (Scrum, Kanban)
• Proficiency in rapid prototyping tools and data manipulation
• Experience with AI platforms (OpenAI, Hugging Face) and API integration
• Knowledge of AB testing and experimental design
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Demonstrated success in strategic planning and market analysis
• Experience in conducting competitive intelligence and market research
• Excellent project management skills with ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Strong organizational abilities and deadline management
• Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills (Spanish) a plus
• Experience in scientific instruments or similar technology business strategies preferred
• Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail
