DESCRIPTION:
As a Business Analyst II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll contribute to bridging business needs with technology solutions to advance our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze processes, gather requirements, and implement innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency. Working in an agile environment, you'll help define and document business requirements, create user stories, facilitate workshops, and ensure successful project delivery. This role offers opportunities to work with advanced technologies while making meaningful contributions to critical business initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree plus 2+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement
• Preferred Fields of Study: Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and project management principles
• Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting using tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other project management/documentation tools
• Excellent requirements gathering and documentation capabilities. Procure to Pay functional knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills for leading workshops and stakeholder meetings
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Experience creating user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
• Proficiency in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, JD Edwards) preferred.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Travel may be required (5-25% depending on role)
