At Thermo Fisher Scientific, you’ll help our customers make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a Manufacturing Technician II, you will support Zeta Plus & IPC production by operating equipment, following standard work, and helping ensure products meet safety, quality, and compliance requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Operate production equipment according to SOPs, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
  • Perform basic equipment setup, changeovers, routine checks, and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to support product quality.
  • Complete production and quality documentation accurately to maintain traceability and ISO 9001 compliance.
  • Identify, report, and escalate issues that may impact safety, quality, compliance, or delivery.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready work area using 5S practices.
  • Follow all EHS policies, PPE requirements, gowning protocols, and cleanroom standards.
  • Support troubleshooting, cross-training, and Practical Process Improvement initiatives.

How You Will Get Here

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

Required:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing, operations, production, laboratory, or a related field.
  • Basic math skills, including formulas, decimals, and fractions.
  • Ability to follow procedures and work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $20.00–$23.00.
