Location/Division Specific Information:

As part of the Pharma Services Group (PSG), th site focuses on gelatin-based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels). We offer extensive development and commercial scale capabilities for a variety of softgels technologies.

How Will You Make an Impact?

The Formulation Technician II will be responsible for operating an encapsulating machine to produce products form pre-mixed ingredients, insuring proper temperatures, machine settings, equipment set-ups, in process measurements, and quality product.

A Day in the Life:

Manufacture of simple, bulk products

Observes machine operation. Adjust as needed. Takes samples of product and performs in process testing.

Assists Set-Up person to set up machine, empty basket and clean and prepare machine for changeover. Also assists with the actual changeover.

Assists with cleanup and other Encapsulation duties as needed. May perform other reasonable, related business duties.

Operates inline printing equipment

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, or lab setting or related field.

Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written skills

Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations and troubleshooting skills

The ability to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation.

Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested.

Must be able to work overtime if necessary.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds
