Role Summary: Enterprise-focused Scrum Master role supporting multiple Agile teams, cross-team coordination, delivery governance, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement in complex product and engineering environments.
Job Description
- We are looking for a highly experienced Scrum Master with 6-10 years of overall experience and strong expertise in guiding multiple Agile teams in parallel.
- This role is responsible for enabling disciplined Agile execution, coaching teams and leaders, removing impediments, managing dependencies, and improving predictability across a multi-team delivery landscape.
- The ideal candidate brings servant leadership, strong facilitation skills, executive presence, and practical experience working with Product Owners, Engineering, Program leadership, and business stakeholders in matrixed enterprise settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Scrum Master for multiple Scrum teams and ensure effective adoption of Scrum and Agile practices.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and cross-team synchronization forums.
- Drive proactive management of risks, issues, impediments, and dependencies across teams and escalate where needed.
- Coach Product Owners, team members, and stakeholders on backlog readiness, prioritization hygiene, estimation, team accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Track and communicate key delivery metrics such as velocity, sprint predictability, burndown, cycle time, dependency risk, and team health indicators.
- Support release planning, milestone tracking, and delivery governance for complex, multi-team initiatives.
- Enable teams to improve collaboration, self-organization, quality, and delivery maturity while aligning execution to business outcomes.
Required Skills
- 6-10 years of overall experience with significant recent experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software, digital, data, or platform delivery environments.
- Proven experience handling multiple Scrum teams simultaneously, including cross-team planning, dependency management, and execution oversight.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Agile metrics, release planning, and delivery management practices.
- Certification such as CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent Agile credential.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar Agile lifecycle management tools.
- Strong communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills.
- Ability to identify root causes, remove blockers, drive actions to closure, and maintain delivery momentum in fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
Desired Skills
- Certification such as CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent Agile credential.
- Experience supporting scaled Agile programs, PI planning, enterprise governance, or transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and quality engineering practices.
- Experience working with distributed teams, vendor partners, and senior business leadership.
- Ability to coach beyond team-level ceremonies and help improve organizational Agile maturity and delivery discipline.
