How will you make an impact?
The General Manager, Environmental & Process Monitoring (EPM) will lead a global business that provides emissions monitoring solutions to our customers that are crucial in protecting the environment and people. EPM instruments improve process efficiency and quality, maintain regulatory compliance, protect worker safety and monitor critical environmental and industrial processes.
The successful candidate will be a strategic builder and hands-on business leader who can develop and execute a compelling product and innovation roadmap, strengthen commercial execution, optimize a complex global portfolio and create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
EPM is a global business serving customers across the Americas, APAC and EMEA. Its portfolio spans Air Quality, Process Systems and Gas Analysis Solutions, with applications across environmental monitoring, industrial processes, oil & gas, mining, power generation, semiconductor and other regulated and industrial markets.
What will you do?
- Set strategy and accelerate growth: Develop and execute the global EPM strategy, own the business P&L, and identify and prioritize the most attractive opportunities for sustainable organic growth across products, applications, geographies and customer segments.
- Build a differentiated, innovation-led portfolio: Define and execute the product and technology roadmap, strengthen portfolio and lifecycle management, and partner with R&D and product management to accelerate differentiated innovation based on customer and market needs.
- Drive commercial excellence: Lead a customer-first commercial strategy, strengthening funnel management, pricing, channel effectiveness and strategic customer relationships to drive share gain, market expansion and consistent growth.
- Deliver operational and financial performance: Establish rigorous cross-functional operating mechanisms and partner with operations and supply chain to improve quality, delivery, productivity, gross margin, working capital and profitability while effectively managing investment and cost.
- Build and develop a high-performing organization: Lead and develop a diverse global team, strengthen the leadership and talent pipeline, and foster a culture of customer focus, accountability, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement while effectively leading through change.
How will you get here?
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, science or a related discipline required.
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
Experience
- Progressive leadership experience in a global industrial, instrumentation, analytical technologies, life sciences or similarly complex technology business.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing business strategy and translating strategy into operating priorities and results.
- Experience leading product management and portfolio strategy, including new product development, commercialization and lifecycle management.
- Strong commercial orientation with demonstrated experience in pricing, channel strategy, market development and customer engagement.
- Experience partnering with R&D and engineering organizations to build and execute innovation roadmaps.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex global operations and make effective trade-offs across growth, investment, productivity and profitability.
- Experience leading organizations through significant change, transformation or restructuring.
- Proven ability to attract, develop and retain high-performing teams and build strong succession pipelines.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Wisconsin is $160,100.00–$240,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
