DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative team as a Materials Planner III, where you'll contribute to optimizing our supply chain operations. You'll develop and execute strategic material requirements plans while ensuring optimal inventory levels across our network. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll balance customer service levels with working capital objectives to support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. This position offers opportunities to lead continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the success of an organization in serving science.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, materials management, or procurement in a manufacturing environment
• Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP) preferred
• Lean/Six Sigma certification beneficial
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Experience with MRP/DRP concepts and inventory management principles
• Ability to develop and maintain material planning parameters (safety stocks, lead times, order quantities)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Experience conducting supply planning meetings with key stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and report on key metrics (inventory turns, service levels, backorders)
• Knowledge of manufacturing concepts and principles
• Ability to work independently and make decisions within defined parameters
• Project management experience with continuous improvement initiatives
• Additional languages beneficial
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environment (cGMP) preferred
• Ability to adapt in a results-oriented environment
