We are looking for a process-obsessed Sr. UX Designer to craft engaging, efficient, and frictionless experiences for the Amazon Advertising Sales team. In this role you will design, test, and deploy innovative experiences that help Amazon Sales users achieve their goals and optimize their process —globally and at scale.

As part of the Amazon Advertising Sales and Partners team, you’ll be involved in all aspects of product development from brainstorming the next innovation to working collaboratively with user research, engineering, product management to bring it to life. Our customers are sellers, and we work backwards from theirs needs while setting high standards for yourself and the team. You will utilize a full range of skills including, wire framing, interaction design, prototyping, and visual design to bring new experiences to fruition. Most importantly, you will have a direct impact on the user experience for users looking to sell with Amazon.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record of successfully designing new features and products. You will lead the design to deliver high quality solutions in an environment where priorities shift fast to meet the changing needs of our customers.

Throughout each stage of the Human Centered Design process, the designer will work collaboratively with a Sales Technology team that includes product managers, engineers, business owners and executives.

You thrive in an environment that requires systems thinking and a level of ambiguity. A commitment to team work, initiative, and strong communication skills are a necessity.


Key job responsibilities
* Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, data, customer feedback, user research and technical constraints/opportunities.
* Quickly and thoroughly create user flows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new product initiatives.
* Relentlessly simplify and distill complex processes into intuitive and elegant UI.
* Establish and maintain detailed user-interface patterns and specifications—working closely with developers to see your design through to deployment.
* Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from business leaders, product management, and engineering.
* Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
* Partner closely with other product and design teams across Amazon.
* Understanding of HTML, Javascript and CSS that informs design and interaction decisions.
* Strong prototyping and interaction design skillset.
* Expert design acumen demonstrated through owning product design end-to-end.

The Advertiser UX (AUX) team serves as the strategic design center for Amazon Ads, designing end-to-end experiences for advertisers, publishers, partners, and internal account teams across the Ads Console, PubTech, and Sales organizations. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
