Purpose of the Job

  • Delivery of medical information on AZ products to healthcare professionals and internal customers.
  • Responsible for one or more therapeutic areas covering multiple products.
  • To review and validate AstraZeneca promotional and non-promotional materials and activities to ensure compliance with AstraZeneca Global Policies, associated standards and local regulatory codes and legislation and provide consultancy to internal and external customers.

Typical Accountabilities

  • Conduct activities and interactions consistent with Company values and in compliance with the Code of Ethics and supporting Policies and Standards relevant to your role. Complete all required training on the AZ Code of Ethics and supporting Policies and Standards on time. Report potential issues of non-compliance.

Functional Capabilities (most critical to this position)

  • Demonstrated experience in drug information communication
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including English)
  • Good computer and database skills
  • Good knowledge of AZ therapeutic areas
  • Good knowledge of AZ products
  • Knowledge of regulatory environment

Essential Qualifications

  •  Bachelors degree in pharmacy, pharmacology

Desired Skills or Requirements

  • Call center experience
  • Previous pharmaceutical industry experience more than 2 years
  • Understanding of multiple aspects within Medical Affairs
  • Knowledge of the latest technical and regulatory developments (essential for Sr. MAM)
  • Experience of Medical Affairs function within a pharmaceutical industry (essential for Sr. MAM)
  • Experience in relationship and stakeholder management (essential for Sr. MA)
  • Project management experience
  • Team management experience (essential for Sr. MAM)

Contract Duration

  • 1-year fixed-term contract
