Senior Copywriter

Our Company

Empowering everyone to create.

Adobe empowers everyone, everywhere to imagine, create and bring digital experiences to life. From creators and students to small businesses, global enterprises and nonprofit organizations, customers choose Adobe products to create, collaborate, grow, and build remarkable experiences.

We are looking for curious, ambitious makers who want to help define world-class creativity in this new era. We believe the craft is more essential than ever while AI should help people create more, explore more, and unlock new possibilities while keeping creators at the center of the creative process.

Adobe is amplifying human ingenuity with AI.

Our Team

Adobe Creative is Adobe’s in-house brand-creative engine, developing the ideas, campaigns, and assets that power Adobe’s brand and business. We are part of the broader Content & Creative (“C&C”) organization. We work alongside Adobe Content, which focuses on publishing and audience development through owned, earned, and partner channels; an Experiences team, which oversees Adobe’s real-world moments; and shared service teams spanning Video, Talent, Partnerships, and Production.

Together, C&C commissions and produces work while equipping teams across Adobe’s Global Marketing Organization and the company to create, adapt, and distribute high-quality work with greater speed and consistency.

The Opportunity

Adobe makes the tools the world uses to create. Our own writing and storytelling should set the standard for what those tools make possible. Adobe Creative is looking for an exceptional Senior Copywriter to create clear, original and culturally relevant work across Adobe Creative’s output.

You will write across campaigns, multi-platform storytelling, product narratives, brand films and live experiences, moving confidently between a sharp headline, a product narrative, a script, and a multi-platform idea. Working alongside Copy leaders, Creative Directors, Designers, Strategists and Product partners, you will help turn complex briefs and technologies into language people can understand, feel and remember.

You will be part of a new copywriting practice built for how brands communicate today. You will contribute to copywriters’ rooms, help develop narratives and verbal systems, and use AI-enabled tools to expand creative exploration without giving up human judgment, originality, or craft.

You are a writer first. You still search for the unexpected line, challenge the first answer, and care deeply about every word.

What You’ll Do

Write Across the Work

  • Create original copy across campaigns, multi-platform storytelling, product narratives, brand films, and live experiences.

  • Move fluidly between headlines, scripts, manifestos, product narratives, multi-platform ideas and longer-form storytelling.

  • Translate complex product capabilities and audience insights into simple, human, and compelling language.

  • Develop writing that feels recognizably Adobe without becoming corporate, repetitive or predictable.

  • Carry copywriting work from early concept through final copy, maintaining quality across every stage.

  • Adapt ideas across channels and formats without losing their meaning, voice, or emotional impact.

Develop Ideas and Narratives

  • Partner with Creative Directors, Copy leaders and Strategists to develop campaign platforms, creative territories and narrative frameworks.

  • Contribute actively to copywriters’ rooms, concepting sessions and rapid creative development.

  • Generate multiple approaches before refining toward the strongest idea.

  • Help shape verbal systems that can support flagship storytelling and high-velocity work.

  • Bring a strong creative point of view to briefs, scripts, messaging, and creative presentations.

  • Challenge language that feels generic, overly technical or disconnected from culture.

Build Voice and Writing Systems

  • Partner with Brand and Copy leadership to bring Adobe’s verbal identity to life across real work.

  • Help develop voice frameworks, messaging systems, naming approaches, and reusable writing tools.

  • Create systems that help teams work faster without losing personality, clarity, or craft.

  • Identify inconsistencies and opportunities to strengthen Adobe’s voice through application.

  • Share writing practices, references, and learning with the broader creative community.

Advance AI-Native Writing

  • Use AI-enabled writing and research tools throughout concepting, drafting, editing and iteration.

  • Use generative tools to expand exploration rather than simply increase the volume of copy.

  • Apply strong creative judgment to all AI-assisted writing.

  • Help define where AI can support speed and scale and where human authorship remains essential.

  • Test emerging Adobe capabilities through real creative work and share useful feedback with Product teams.

  • Apply responsible AI practices, including accuracy, authorship, provenance, creator rights and Content Credentials.

Collaborate and Deliver

  • Work closely with Designers, Art Directors, Motion teams, Strategists, Producers, Product and Product Marketing.

  • Present work clearly, explain creative choices, and respond constructively to feedback.

  • Partner with Production to ensure scripts and written ideas are executable without losing their creative intent.

  • Collaborate with agency and specialist copywriters when external expertise is required.

  • Maintain a high writing standard through fast timelines, multiple workstreams, and changing priorities.

  • Take ownership of your work while contributing generously to the ideas of others.

What You Need to Succeed

  • You consider yourself a maker first. AI fluency is how you work, not a skill you are developing.

  • 6+ years of experience in copywriting, creative writing, or related field.

  • A standout portfolio spanning campaigns, scripts, multi-platform storytelling, product narratives, or experiences.

  • Exceptional copywriting and creative judgment, with the ability to make language clearer, sharper, and more memorable.

  • The ability to move confidently between short-form and long-form writing.

  • Strong conceptual thinking and experience developing ideas alongside multidisciplinary creative teams.

  • Experience translating complex products or technologies into compelling human stories.

  • Experience writing for different platforms, audiences, and cultural contexts.

  • Familiarity with voice systems, messaging frameworks, naming, or verbal identity.

  • Fluency with AI-enabled writing tools and a clear perspective on how they support rather than replace human creativity.

  • Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • A genuine and current understanding of culture, entertainment, technology, media, and creator communities.

  • Balancing speed, experimentation, and craft effectively.

  • A maker mentality, intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuously improving the work.
