The Minecraft team is looking for a Product Manager to join the Bedrock Platform Gameplay Systems Team; we build the engine and systems that power a diverse set of Minecraft gaming experiences over a dozen platforms in support of multiple internal partners and all Bedrock players and creators. 

Is collaboration across organizations and cultures at the heart of what you do every day? This role will be accountable for planning, production, and delivery of core game engine features. This role will manage and report on multiple projects aligning to the right customer release vehicle, will contribute to the patterns, artifacts, and rhythm of the broader team including building and managing to product roadmaps. 

We are seeking a candidate with technical background and experience partnering with teams of engineers, quality assurance, and designers through the full feature lifecycle. Your role will be to collaborate across the organization, understand and communicate requirements and information efficiently and effectively, drive for clarity across the opportunity space to solutions, develop relationships that lead to efficient problem solving, and share the vision and outcomes to all the needed areas of the business, including senior leadership. The ability to track and deliver value to multiple customer release activities simultaneously will be key



Responsibilities
  • Partner with our vanilla gameplay and creator teams to define, scope, and execute on platform capabilities for Minecraft developers internal and external to Mojang Studios. 
  • Establish clear and robust roadmaps for the gameplay systems platform, informed by partners and studio-wide priorities 
  • Establish clear and measurable goals for your product area, and communicate progress, risks, and mitigations clearly to team leadership. 
  • Work across Mojang Studios with key stakeholders to support studio-wide initiatives.  
  • Collaborate across teams and geographies to deliver bar-raising experiences for Minecraft players.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
